 Hearts of Oak coach Didi Dramani and three players have been named in Fatau Dauda's GPL Team of the Week Fatau Dauda has named Didi Dramani, the coach of Hearts of Oak, as the Coach of the Week for the second week of the Ghana Premier League (GPL). Three players from Hearts of Oak SC—Hussein Mohammed, who scored the only goal in their match against Dreams FC; Raphael Amponsah; and Benjamin Asare, the number one goalkeeper for the Black Stars— were recognised for their outstanding performance in the GPL team of the week The image below shows the Fatau Dauda Players of the week 2 GPL Week 2 Best XI

UTAG-UCC Issues A Bold Warning To GTEC The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) at the University of Cape Coast has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), demanding the reversal of what they describe as "unlawful" sanctions imposed on the university. UTAG-UCC argues that GTEC’s actions violate the institution's autonomy and due process. They have warned that if the sanctions are not lifted, it may lead to escalating industrial actions. This ultimatum comes amid growing tensions regarding regulatory interference in academic governance.

**Six Suspects  Arrested For Drug Trafficking By The Police In The North East Region **   The North East Regional Police Command, in collaboration with the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC), has arrested six suspects involved in drug trafficking. This operation took place in Nalerigu, where authorities intercepted 1,195 boxes of Tramadol Hydrochloride 120mg, commonly referred to as "Red." The drugs were concealed in a truck near Gbintri. The suspects have been identified as Alhassan Braimah, Yakubu Muntaka, Abdulai Shakur, Mumuni Iddrisu, Mumuni Yakubu, and Moses Ayorik. They were apprehended on September 18, 2025, after two trucks with registration numbers GR 1712-16 and AW 4417-14 were intercepted.
